The Walking Dead (October 31,2010 - Present) is the most watched drama in basic cable history.It is an American television series based on the comic book series of the same name, and was developed by Frank Darabont.It is distributed by AMC and Fox International Channels.

The series stars Andrew Lincoln as Deputy Sheriff Rick Grimes, who wakes from a coma to find a post-apocalyptic world dominated by zombies (or "walkers" as they are referred to in the show) and subsequently sets out on a journey to find his family and any survivors.
