Elves have a similar range of complexions to humans, but are, nonetheless, famously fair and beautiful. They have pointed ears and generally posses no body hair except eyebrows, eyelashes, and hair. Another notorious characteristic of theirs is the long lifespan they enjoyed, that could go up to nine hundred years, naturally. Additionally, elves were extremely accurate in their attacks, having a degree of precision that would be unusual for other humanoids and they did not sleep, instead finding their rest in a meditative state called "reverie", which was as restful as true sleep but left them aware of their surroundings. However, elves commonly possessed strong but swiftly passing passions and impulsive behavior which lend them a fame of impetuousness or vanity
